CGGE focuses on the digital creative industries in the era of artificial intelligence and is developing a collaborative framework integrating education, practical experience, and industry participation. Jilin Animation Institute has long been committed to integrating academic research, education, and industry, with a strong focus on cultivating talent in animation and digital creativity. During the discussions, both parties introduced their respective organizations and development plans, reviewed the foundation established through their previous exchanges, and explored cooperation in talent development, industry–education integration, innovation and entrepreneurship, and internationalization.
Zheng Liguo welcomed the delegation. He noted that the founding team of CGGE has deep ties with Digital Domain, China’s 3D animation industry, and the cultivation of industry talent. He further pointed out that global developments in artificial intelligence and open-source technologies are ushering the creative industries into a new era of transformation. He expressed the hope that both parties would identify practical areas for cooperation, introduce real-world industry projects and professional standards into teaching, and jointly cultivate digital creative talent capable of meeting the demands of the artificial intelligence era.
During their visit, Raymond D. Neoh and the delegation toured the university history museum, an exhibition of fine original artwork and manuscripts from animated comics, an exhibition showcasing integrated academic–industry creative achievements, the Centennial Exhibition of Chinese Animation, and a film retrospective. Accompanied by Zheng Liguo, they also learned about the university’s existing teaching facilities and the planned industry–education integration campus.
As the creative intelligence economy approaches implementation, both parties acknowledged the opportunities and challenges ahead and reached a consensus on future development. Through the signed memoranda of understanding, they confirmed their intention to establish a strategic partnership. They will also form working groups and appoint designated liaison officers to advance subsequent cooperation projects.
