Krystal Institute Founder and CEO will speak on human potential, artificial intelligence and open production infrastructure across two parallel sessions at WIC 2026.
HONG KONG — 20 August 2026 — Krystal Institute today announced that its Founder and CEO, Raymond D. Neoh, has been invited to deliver keynote addresses at the World Industrialisation Congress and Cambridge Industrialisation Annual Conference 2026 (WIC 2026) at the University of Cambridge on 21 August. His two presentations will examine how artificial intelligence, human capability and shared production infrastructure can shape more inclusive industrial futures. 1
Hosted by Cambridge Industrialisation at the Baker Building, Department of Engineering, University of Cambridge, the inaugural Congress is convened under the theme “Industrialisation in the Digital Age.” The programme brings together scholars, practitioners and policy makers to consider how digital technologies are reshaping industrial pathways, business models and policy frameworks. 1
In the University of Cambridge-hosted Emerging and Future Industries parallel session, Mr Neoh will deliver the keynote “Industrialising Human Potential in the Age of AI.” The address will consider a defining question for industry and education: as intelligent systems automate and accelerate aspects of production, how can institutions equip people to create, exercise judgement and participate meaningfully in new forms of value creation?
Mr Neoh will also speak in the New Industrialisation parallel session hosted by Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU). His address, “From Industrialisation of Machines to the Industrialisation of Human Potential”, will set out the case for a human-centred Creative Intelligence Economy. It will examine why education, enterprise pathways, interoperability and responsible governance must develop together if AI-enabled production is to widen opportunity rather than deepen fragmentation.
A central element of Mr Neoh’s contribution will be the proposed Global Computer Graphics Production Standard (GCGPS): an open, AI-native governance framework for computer-graphics production. GCGPS is designed to connect production workflow, asset and version control, AI-use documentation, quality assurance, provenance and delivery records across the creative-production lifecycle. The framework is intended to support reproducible collaboration among studios, educational institutions, creators and technology partners working across borders and tools.

The WIC 2026 programme brings together a cross-institutional group of industrialisation, policy and innovation leaders. Confirmed speakers include Professor Tim Minshall, Dean of the Institute for Manufacturing at the University of Cambridge; Professor Maria Adele Carrai, Associate Professor in the Department of Politics and International Relations and Oxford School of Global and Area Studies at the University of Oxford; Professor Tiyan Shen, Dean of the Institute of Urban Governance at Peking University and WIC 2026 Co-Chair; and Professor Yong Wang, Dean of the Tsinghua–BMW China Sustainable Development & Mobility Innovation Institute at Tsinghua University and WIC 2026 Co-Chair. 1
Representing HKMU, Professor Mohan Datwani — Director of The Future Centre and Professor of Practice at the Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration — is also a WIC 2026 Co-Chair. His participation connects the HKMU session to the wider agenda of human-centred industrialisation, shared standards and institution-building. 1
