On March 22-23, 2025, Krystal Institute's affiliated company, CG Global Entertainment Limited (CGGE) hosted the “Blender + AI Creative Training: Teaching Applications and Case Studies” 2-day Course at Shenzhen Polytechnic University to advance cutting-edge digital creative technologies and exchange innovative educational models in digital media disciplines. Krystal Institute will support the teaching efforts led by CGGE, offering its expertise in digital media, innovation, and education.
Faculty members from Shenzhen Polytechnic's School of Digital Media—specializing in Digital Animation, Animation Design, and Digital Media Arts—along with selected students participated in the training exchange. They gained in-depth insights into Blender's functionalities and practical applications, explored plugin operations and AI creative tools, and developed new teaching strategies.
The training featured Mr. Gaku Tada, developer of the Deep Paint plugin, who shared industry insights from leading VFX studios like Industrial Light & Magic and Weta FX. He personally demonstrated techniques including converting 2D brushes into 3D models, stylized brushes, and 3D spatial painting. Additionally, Mr. Stanley Yuen, Senior Mentor at CGGE and Veteran Film Production Director, shared insights on integrating Blender with AI tools for operational use and conducted hands-on demonstration sessions.

CG Global Entertainment Limited (CGGE) was founded in Hong Kong in 2017 to develop Computer Graphics (CG) technical standards, leveraging open-source technologies and artificial intelligence to build digital content creation pipelines.
